Do You Believe in Yourself that You are Eating a Healthy Diet?

In my previous post, I mentioned about plants' characteristics and benefits which contains almost the same nutrients, but differ in names and appearance. I also mentioned that so many information about the nutrition of each plant, the nutritional value when combined in a recipe, and the natural remedy when ingested, etc.

I believe in those information, but how do I know if the benefit of that certain plant which is the same with the other plant works the same way too in the body system of a person to person. I am really confused and I will continue to find out why until the answer that I want will satisfy my curiosity.

What is Ayurvedic Medicine?

Ayurvedic medicine is the belief of the Hindus that the body was built from the three essences or elements which are: air or breath, phlegm, and bile.
The Vedas are a series of Hindu texts between 1200 B.C. and 900 B.C., although it is said that they are probably based on much older stories. In among the religious part of the Vedas are detailed descriptions of diseases, including dropsy and tumors. Herbal remedies are the treatments recommended in the Vedas followed with prayers, and sometimes magic rituals to expel demons.

"NATURE" and Plants' Role In Humanity

Through Science and Technology, we are able to know plants' characteristics, benefits, harm and its beauty, based on the study made by scientists. However, each one of us though, have our own concepts and interpretations from the books that we read, from our own observations to the plants that our eyes can see physically. Not all human beings are given the opportunity to read all those studies made by the scientists, and I believe, that Nature helps those people who were not given the chance to reach the materials published for them to know the characteristics of plants.

There are those people who are "enlightened" by Nature to understand the characteristic of a certain plant. My husband is one example. He was taught by an "old man" who can "spiritually communicate" with a certain plant to be able to know if that particular plant can cure a disease, as I was told by my husband. It is my own belief that this not about being a "quack" doctor, but by way of Nature to help those people who don't have the chance to read the materials published regarding the study of plants through science and technology. The other reasons might be, that these people either live in a remote area where education is scarcely practiced or reached, or financially, they are not capable of buying such materials.

Chinese History in the Field of Medicine

Chinese are well known for their remarkable contribution in the field of medicine. Chinese medicine developed over thousands of years, almost without any outside influence from other medical systems. The Chinese' Yin and Yang represents the rule of opposites that is very important in their medicine process. The Yin is the force that represents qualities such as darkness, while its opposite, the Yang, stands for qualities such as light. It is the attempt to restore the balance between the opposite in Chinese medicine.

The Emperor, Huang Ti, who lived from 2698 B.C. to 2598 B.C., was said to be the author of the great Chinese medical work called, the Nei Ching, which forms the basis of all Chinese medicine.

The Nei Ching (Book of Medicine) is an ancient medical work, that is believed, according to legend, which was written 4,000 years ago by the Yellow Emperor, Huang Ti, that it was more likely to have been written sometime about 200 B.C., but this has formed the basis for most Chinese medical literature since.

Coco-Moringa Herbal Health Oil for Neck Lump, Chicken Pox and Eczema

Another positive experience from the new user of Coco-Moringa Health Oil. A friend introduced me to a guy who has neck lump. I learned that the guy suffered that lump for already how many years, about 5 years or so. He underwent different kinds of medication including traditional but the neck lump is still there. He doesn't want to go for operation fearing that operation might cause more complications especially at his age...he is now about 60+ years old.

I asked him to try the Coco-Moringa Herbal Health Oil Mix. I explained him that he just apply to his neck and the other parts of his body everyday. And so he did. He told me that 2x a day he apply to his head, neck, and also his arms down to his legs. His application is after taking a bath in the morning and before going to sleep at night.

After the applications of two bottles, he said that there is improvement. He himself told me that every time he applies he feels the soothing effect like menthol and he can also feel the oil penetrating to his skin. I told him that the oil can really penetrate his cells, because the oil is composed of very small molecules that can penetrate through the skin to the cells. For now, he said he feels more comfortable and still applying the oil. He is on his third bottle now and I sent him again another 3 bottles.

What is Gout

I always hear my friends who have gout saying that they are afraid to eat foods that is rich in fats. These particular foods that they are afraid of are: peanuts (most especially) and other kinds of nuts, including oily and fatty foods. I don't have gout so I really don't know the pain they are going through if their gout attacks them. I noticed though that those who are saying they have gout are overweight and ages 40 and above. They said that if they eat the kind of foods mentioned, their uric acid will cause their gout to attack them.

I am just wondering why, with all the information that can be easily accessed in the Internet, the medicines prescribed by the doctors, and the natural remedies published and posted in the Internet, still, I can see people suffering from this kind of disease. It is said that gout is a metabolic disease caused by the production of abnormally large amounts of uric acid. Why then that there are still more and more people suffering from gout?

More on Moringa Oleifera Benefits

As I am browsing the Internet to find more information about the Moringa Oleifera, I stumbled upon this website and their presentation makes me more convinced that Moringa Oleifera is really a "Miracle Tree". Miracle in a sense that, if only these methods in the presentation be replicated, what a wonderful world it would be. Please keep reading.

The presentation stated that:
"In ancient times, Moringa was known and used in traditional societies around the world. This was long before people had the tools of instant communication that we have today. So people must have discovered Moringa independently in all of these places and they all found great value in it. This fact alone suggests that Moringa is worth investigating."

Vitamin D

Vitamin D  is sometimes called sunshine vitamin, because it is produced in the skin when a person is outdoors in the sun. Vitamin D plays a part in the formation and the utilization of calcium. Rickets in children is associated with lack of sufficient vitamin D. Vitamin D can be obtained in commercially prepared foods such as milk and bread. Caution should be followed when taking Vitamin D concentrate. Always follow what is prescribed by the doctor, do not take more than the orders. Deposits of calcium in the kidneys, heart and other soft tissues can result from taking massive doses of vitamin D.

Chilblain

Did you or members of your family ever experience chilblain? What is chilblain?

Chilblain is a local reddening, swelling, and itching caused by exposure to cold. A chilblain may occur on the fingers, toes, ears, and nose. (ref: Dr. Benjamin F. Miller, M.D. Family Health Guide and Medical Encyclopedia)

My daughter have chilblain. To be honest, I did not know the name until now that I came across the definition. Sometimes my daughter has this and I wondered why, but now I already know :) Each time my daughter experience this I just apply the Coco-Moringa Herbal Oil Mix and it takes only a few minutes to vanish.

If you or your child have chilblain, moringa oil works.

Burn

Do you ever know the types of burn and how to know the degree of the burn? Below is the knowledge you can get from a doctor to distinguish what kind of degree is the burn especially if it takes time to reach a doctor so you would know how to apply your own first aid treatment while waiting for a treatment:

Burn is an injury to the skin by heat, chemicals, electricity, or radiation. There are three types of burn. A first-degree burn is one in which the skin turns red, but there are no blisters. Only the epidermis, the outermost part of the skin, is injured. A second-degree burn goes somewhat deeper. There is blistering, and the skin turns very red. A third-degree burn penetrates the skin completely and destroys both epidermis and dermis (the part of the skin beneath the epidermis). Because nerve endings in the skin are destroyed, a third degree burn may actually cause less pain than a more superficial first- or second-degree burn.

Bee Sting

Did you ever experience a bee attack and the effect of its sting? Bee sting is poisonous. Below is an advice from a doctor:

Some people are specially sensitive to bee or wasp venom, a sting can be serious. First, remove (with forceps, if possible) the stinger, if it has been left with the wound. Pain can be relieved by applying household ammonia or a paste of Sodium Bicarbonate and water. Do not plaster the wound with mud.  This old-fashioned remedy may cause infection. If a sting is on a very sensitive place such as the eyelid, lip, or tongue, or if the victim complains of weakness or swelling of the body, call a doctor immediately. If you have been prescribed medicine for bee-sting allergy, take it as soon as possible. To avoid such stings, keep away from hollow trees and other places where hives may be. (ref: Dr. Benjamin F. Miller, M.D., Family Health Guide and Medical Encyclopedia)

Bedsore

How do you care for your elders when they are sick or bedridden? Do you have the patience in taking care of them? Some elders who are sick especially bedridden are irritable, and they are quite upsetting because of their unpredictable behavior. What is the level of your tolerance in adjusting yourself in order to understand that the actions of elders who are in such a situation should be understood no matter how it hurts and how difficult to take care of them. If you love your elders and they are in this condition, this is the perfect time to let them feel your love and care for them. Just think that when you were a baby, you were almost at the same situation, only you were a baby then and your elder is old now. Better said than done, but love can conquer all difficulties.

Acid Burn

What you should do if an area of your skin is burned by a strong acid?

Acid burn is caused by a strong acid or caustic alkali, such as nitric or sulfuric acid or lye. Both acids and alkalies can cause serious damage to the skin and eyes, so instant action is called for. Bathe the burn immediately and continue to wash it with water. Be sure to remove all contaminated clothing. If large areas of the body are affected, get the victim into a shower, if possible, and keep him under the running water, otherwise pour water over him. (ref: Dr. Benjamin F. Miller M.D. Family Health Guide Encyclopedia)

Psoriasis

Psoriasis is a skin disease characterized by itchy, red patches that become covered with loose, silvery scales. Psoriasis may be acute, but in most cases it is chronic and mild.

The eruptions appear most often on the scalp, forearms, elbows, knees, and legs, but may also occur on the chest, abdomen, back, and soles of the feet. Psoriasis is sometimes associated with arthritis. The cause is unknown, but it seems to run in families. It is not communicable.

Lupus Erythematosus

Lupus Erythematosus is a disease that is often characterized by scaly red patches on the skin. The disease exists in two forms. The discoid, or mild, type manifests itself as round or butterfly-shaped lesions on the face. Usually no treatment is necessary, but the individual should avoid sun's rays.

Acne

Acne is an inflammation of the sebaceous (oil) glands just beneath the surface of the skin, causing pimples, blackheads, whiteheads, and, in extreme cases, infected cysts and scarred skin. Acne is a disorder that sets in puberty. Cases may be brief and mild or chronic and severe, but, in one form or another, acne affects as many as 80 percent of all teenagers. Areas most frequently affected are the face, shoulders, chest, and back.
